About the Event
Join the Diphonon Duo for a low stimulus performance as part of Wigmore Hall's Imagine Series. The duo will perform pieces without sudden or loud volume in this informal concert, featuring Jessie Montgomery, Arvo Pärt and Joaquin Taboada. The duo will introduce pieces and share some facts and stories about the music.
The concert will benefit from natural daylight through Wigmore Hall’s frosted glass ceiling, and all other lighting in the auditorium itself will be kept low. Announcements will be kept to a minimum and there will be a quiet space in the Bechstein Room. Audiences may leave and re-enter when needed. Hand dryers in the toilets will be switched off and paper towels available instead.
Low stimulus performances may benefit those who prefer a quieter environment and some neurodivergent people. For more information, visit wigmore-hall.org.uk/imagine-series.
